Our comfortable Bed and Breakfast, The Hideaway, is situated near Grolejac, in the heart of the beautiful Dordogne.

Close to Sarlat and Domme and a short drive to the picturesque riverside village of La Roque Gageac and Beynac. Rocamadour is an hours drive away. A perfect holiday for couples who enjoy beautiful scenery and interesting places to visit.
There are 2 restaurants within walking distance in the village (one on the lake). Locally Grolejac offers a lake safe for swimming with a sandy beach, an excellent cycle path that follows the river valley (2 bikes available for hire), canoe hire on the river and a tennis court.There is a golf course and horse riding facilities close by.

The Hideaway offers 2 large comfortable double rooms with exposed beams and seating area.

Montfort: Large double with views down the valley and a large private shower room.
Fenelon: Large double (with additional single bed) and an ensuite shower room.
Our generous continental breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beamed lounge where there is a log fire burning out of season. Guests have use of a sunny terrace which is a lovely site to relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and take in the view.

There is also a shady, terraced garden with sunloungers.

We regret we do not accommodate children.
