La Cachette is close to Sarlat and Domme and a short drive to the riverside villages of La Roque Gageac and Beynac. Rocamadour is an hours drive away. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance in the village (one on the lake). Locally Grolejac offers a large lake which is safe for swimming with a sandy beach, an excellent cycle path with bike hire in season, canoe hire on the river and a tennis court. There is a golf course and horse riding facilities close by.La Cachette offers 2 large comfortable double rooms with exposed beams and seating area. Montfort: Large double with views down the valley and a large private shower room.Fenelon: Large double (with additional single bed) and an ensuite shower room.Our generous continental breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beamed salon where there is a log burning fire out of season. Guests have use of a sunny terrace which is a lovely place to site, enjoy a glass of wine, and take in the view. There is also a shady, terraced garden to relax in.
